The CHQC was created to be a champion for children’s health quality in Massachusetts. As an organization devoted exclusively to improving pediatric health, we find that our advocacy and policy efforts are critical to supporting the improvements in delivering health care to children.

While we work with our members on advancing specific child health priorities, such as improving care coordination, developing and testing quality measures, and promoting medical homes, we are responsible for communicating lessons learned about quality measurements and innovations in care to ensure that policymakers, program administrators, providers, and other decision makers around the state have information and our collaborative perspective to fully support system changes that address issues unique to children. To that end, we have developed strong relationships with state and local agencies, provider organizations, insurers, and others across the state, as well as with national organizations focused on healthcare quality.
